A Winter Walk

"I am new to photography and am a little wary of digital cameras, and I never know what to take photos of. I found the 'Photographic Scavenger Hunt' activity a great way to make me think about framing my subject – and I really enjoyed looking for things. I never knew the place I lived was so interesting! "

Looking and noticing can be two different things. Sometimes we look without seeing, and in this 'Winter Walk', we’ll help you to notice more than you might do normally. Apart from looking, the 'Winter Walk' will also engage with your senses of touch, smell and hearing to enhance your enjoyment.

Did you know?

We’re more likely to feel lower in the darker and colder winter months. That’s why it’s important to wrap up warm and go outdoors. Daylight stimulates the production of ‘serotonin’ in the brain. Serotonin plays an important part in the regulation of learning, mood, and sleep.
