Build Your Confidence - Three Things I Did Well Today

Three Things I Did Well Today exercise:

  • Spend five minutes at the end of each day reflecting on three things you’ve done well. Research shows that it’s most effective if you do this either;

 

  • every day for a week
    or
  • once a week for seven weeks

 

Your observations can be of anything for which you think you deserve a pat on the back, no matter how small that thing might be. You don’t have to share this with anyone so feel free to be as immodest as you can bear.

  • At the end of the week look back over your list and assign the personal strength/s that you needed to realise each achievement. For example: If you were listening to a friend going through a hard time you may have used – kindness, humour, open mindedness, perspective, integrity, fairness, love, or all of these things!
