Composition

“What I look for in pictures I take: eyes, hands, head tilt, body language, background and use of space.”

Caroline Mueller

Format

Remember to shoot in both ‘landscape’ (when the camera is held horizontally) and ‘portrait’ (when the camera is held vertically) to add variety to your work. You could also try tilting your camera at a dramatic angle to create strong diagonals in the frame. Diagonals can create a sense of energy, movement and drama.
