Relate To Others Confidently - The Big Six

"I liked using the questions to write about an object in the ‘Imaginary Lives’ activity. It came easily, the imagery was good and it made me smile."

Joy

“Things won are done; joy's soul lies inthe doing. “

William Shakespeare

“One joy scatters a hundred griefs.”

Chinese proverb

Although our levels of happiness are largely determined by our genes, there are things we can do to help boost the levels of joy in our lives. From a fake smile to counting our blessings, it’s often those little things lying within our control that can make all the difference.

The old advice of counting our blessings really is wise by the way! Studies have now proved that, by just taking a little bit of time to notice the things that make us happy, we can increase the amount of happiness we experience without having to do anything extra.
