What next?

  • This exercise serves as a simple introduction for the beginner, or a warm-up for the experienced.  To work more on your skills, it may be useful to visit the BBC learning zone, which has a good range of video demonstrations about drawing
  • If you’d like to develop drawing skills, the best path may be to move on to work within a group.  Either as a student or as part of a hobby group, this is a good way to progress, and share ideas and encouragement. See our Links Page for where to look If you can’t join a group at the moment, there are many excellent books available about drawing – try your local library, bookstore or online stores for more ideas
