Suggested time: 30 minutes+
This exercise is split into stages. First sculpting a five line poem using existing text. Then creating a Triolet using the five line poem. 

Who can I do this activity with?

On my own or with others. (It's great to see how different poems are when using the same material as inspiration).

Where can I do this activity?

Indoors or out. Wherever is comfortable and away from any distractions.

How often can I do this activity?

This activity can be done again and again using any written materials as inspiration - such as magazines, newspapers, etc. 

What do I need?

  • Print out of culpepper extract - this is attached to the PDF instructions for this exercise, found below left
  • A piece of paper
  • A pen or pencil
