Registration Terms and Conditions

These Registration Terms and Conditions apply to your use of both the private and public areas of the Website.  These Registration Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with our general Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

 

Definitions

A ‘Registered User’ is a person who has registered to use the Website.

‘Your Content’ is any and all the content submitted or uploaded to the Website by you, including names, images, pictures, photographs, video clips, biographical information, text, logos, marks and any other information and materials.

 

Registration Process

Before you are able to access the private or public areas of the Website you must read through these Registration Terms and Conditions.  To register you need to complete the required fields on the registration form and read and accept these Registration Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy and the House Rules.  Please bear in mind that the user name you choose will be displayed when you post Your Content in the public areas. This being the case we encourage you to set up a user name alias for yourself. You should also take care not to include any personal details in your user name. You must set yourself a password and keep this password safe.  Once you have registered we will send you a confirmation email.

 

Passwords

By registering, you promise to keep your password secret and not to disclose or share it with anyone.  If you believe that someone else may have access to or know your password you must change it immediately by accessing Your Account. You can access Your Account to change your password under ‘my Start2 settings’ in your Ownzone. If you choose to share your password with others, you do so at your own risk.

If you cannot remember your password , contact us via the ‘Forgotten your password’ prompt and you will receive an email reminder.

 

Submission of Content to the Public Areas of the Website

As a Registered User you may post or upload Your Content to the Website as long as you comply with our Content Standards (see below) and these Registration Terms and Conditions. You grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use Your Content on the Website.
 
You agree that before posting or uploading Your Content you are responsible for obtaining all releases, consents and/or licences necessary for uploading Your Content on our Website and for any subsequent use of Your Content by us in accordance with these Registration Terms and Conditions.
 
You promise that you are the person depicted in any images or photographs submitted as part of Your Content and if you upload any images or photographs of any third party, you have obtained the prior written consent of that party to submit such content to our Website. Even if you have obtained the necessary consent to upload a third party’s image or photographs, you agree to follow the rules relating to Content Standards (below) in relation to that image or photograph.

 

Content Standards

You agree whenever you submit Your Content to our Website to comply with our Content Standards. If you do not comply we reserve the right to suspend or ban you from using the Website and/or suspend or ban you from using the shared, public areas of the Website.

You agree that Your Content must be accurate where it states facts and be genuinely held beliefs where it states opinions.

You agree that Your Content must not:

  • contain any material which constitutes or encourages conduct that could be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law;

  • be likely to disrupt our service in any way; 
  • give the impression it emanates from us where this is not the case; or 
  • advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act, for example copyright, trade mark infringement, or computer misuse.


You agree to comply with any additional rules (such as the House Rules of the public, shared areas) that may apply to a particular area of the Website.

 

Your Content on the Website

We reserve the right to reject, block, suspend or remove Your Content at any time at our sole discretion. We in no way guarantee that Your Content or any part of it will be displayed on the Website. Any content is published at our discretion.

You agree to put MMHSCT back in pocket for any losses it suffers, damages awarded or any costs that it incurs as a result of you posting Your Content on the Website and/or any breach by you of any term in these Registration Terms and Conditions.

The exercises on this Website have been put together with a view to you using a common sense approach to the use of tools, materials and equipment (for example, sharp objects such as scissors). You agree to follow the health and safety advice on the Website and to take care not to injure yourself.

 

Monitoring your own wellbeing

This Website is intended for anyone, for the benefit of wellbeing, and in particular may help you if you are experiencing a period of mental or emotional distress. Like any support or treatment, you need to work at the creative wellbeing techniques in this Website, and use your own judgement about how often you use the creative techniques, and which ones suit you best. Although the exercises are evidence-based, we cannot guarantee that your wellbeing will improve.

The exercises and advice on this Website have been designed and written by experts and to the best of our knowledge are both effective and safe.

 

Discontinuation, changes to and/or suspension of the Website

MMHSCT may suspend or discontinue the Website at any time. MMHSCT may also change, suspend or discontinue the availability of any aspect or feature of the Website at any time. Where reasonably possible, MMHSCT shall endeavour to make you aware of any impending discontinuation, change to or suspension of the Website service by email and/or by way of information on the Website itself.

MMHSCT may at any time and in its sole discretion impose limits on certain aspects or features of the Website, including retaining the right to create limits on storage space for Your Content.

You agree that MMHSCT will not be liable to you for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Website. You also agree that MMHSCT will not be liable to you for any temporary or permanent inability to access the Website or to retrieve Your Content from the Website.

Although MMHSCT will make reasonable efforts to store and preserve Your Content, it cannot, for technical reasons, do that for all creative databases and features within the Website. Your attention is drawn to the warning notices on various web pages which advise you to make and keep outside of the Website your own copies of work which has any personal value to you. You are strongly urged to take measures to preserve copies of Your Content that you post or upload on the Website and You are solely responsible for creating back-ups of Your Content.


General

If any provision in our Registration Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provision.
If you breach these Registration Terms and Conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Registration Terms and Conditions.
These Registration Terms and Conditions and the use by you of the Website shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as do we, to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for the purpose of any disputes between us that relate to these Registration Terms and Conditions.
